Questions that arise before launching a project
We have compiled key questions on manufacturing custom parts, reverse engineering and working with turbine equipment.
What information is required to receive a commercial offer?
At minimum: equipment and task description, delivery region, and desired timeline. Additionally: drawings, photos of the part with dimensions, a defect report or a physical sample. Within 7–10 business days, we provide a preliminary assessment: feasibility, estimated timelines and cost range. The final commercial offer is prepared after the technical details are agreed.
What languages do you use for communication and documentation?
In any language, depending on the customer’s requirements or the country of delivery. The basic working languages are English, Ukrainian and Russian: correspondence, contracts, technical documentation and supervised installation.
Which regions do you supply to?
Worldwide deliveries by sea, air, rail and road transport. Standard Incoterms are EXW or DAP; other terms are agreed individually. The map of completed projects and delivery geography are presented in the “Delivery Geography” section.
What are the payment terms and which currencies do you work with?
The base contract currencies are euro and US dollar; other currencies are available by agreement. The standard payment structure for production orders is: advance payment upon signing, interim payment upon readiness for shipment, and the balance after delivery. Exact proportions and timelines are fixed in the contract for each specific project and depend on the amount, deadlines and cooperation history.
Do you sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)?
Yes, signing an NDA before sharing technical information, drawings and equipment photos is standard practice. We work both with our own template and with the customer’s form.
Can we review completed projects before signing a contract?
Yes. General information and geography are available in the “Delivery Geography” section. Under NDA, we provide an extended description of completed projects: equipment types, supply volumes, industries and regions. For selected cases, with the customer’s consent, we can arrange a reference call.
How is interaction with the customer organized during the project?
Each project is assigned a manager — a single point of contact on behalf of Rotors Tech. Technical issues are escalated to engineers, production issues to the manufacturing site, and logistics issues to the delivery department. Status updates are provided according to an agreed schedule: more frequently at the start, at control points during production, and before shipment with a full document package and photos of the finished products.
