I don’t have a drawing for the required part — where should I start?
To start it is enough to provide a task description plus photos of the part with basic dimensions or a physical sample — complete or damaged. Based on the results of the initial analysis within 20–30 business days we provide a preliminary assessment of feasibility and timeline.
Do you guarantee that the restored part will fit my equipment and work correctly?
All technical parameters — geometry, material, tolerances, heat treatment modes, operating modes — are recorded in the restored documentation and agreed with your engineers before production starts. The process sheet is approved in writing. Compatibility and operability for the specific unit are specified in the contract terms — we are responsible for the final result, not only for the documentation.
What industries and equipment do you work with?
Metallurgy, petrochemistry, mining industry, thermal power generation, pulp and paper industry, production of cement and building materials, water supply and water treatment. The common denominator is critical production equipment, where downtime costs more than restoring the part.
Can I order one part or is a batch required?
We work with both single-unit orders and small-batch lots. A single-unit order for a unique part — is a typical scenario for us, and the process is built specifically for it.
How long does a project take from request to delivery?
It depends on the complexity of the task and the availability of source documentation. Manufacturing based on the customer’s drawing — usually 3 months. Reverse engineering with documentation restoration and approvals — from 6 months. For urgent cases priority production and accelerated logistics are possible — the actual timeline is provided after initial analysis.
What documentation is supplied with the finished part?
Product passport, material certificates, control reports (dimensional, hardness, non-destructive testing upon request). If reverse engineering was performed in the project — the restored drawing or 3D model is transferred to the customer and becomes your technical base for future orders for the same part.
Who is responsible for quality, if production is carried out at external facilities?
Rotors Tech — a single contractor and a single point of responsibility. We select and certify production sites, control technological processes at every stage, conduct final acceptance before shipment. The customer interacts only with us — all approvals, control, documentation and claims go through one partner.
How do you differ from other contractors in non-standard manufacturing?
First — 15+ years of engineering expertise specifically in critical industrial equipment, not “we make whatever is ordered”.
Second — our own competence in reverse engineering: we work with tasks where documentation does not exist.
Third — one contract for the entire cycle: engineering, documentation, production, delivery, quality control — without coordination of several suppliers on your side.
How are cost and timelines determined at the start of the project?
It depends on the complexity of the engineering part, the type of part, materials, order volume and required timelines. After receiving the task description and materials (photo, drawing, sample) within 7–10 business days we provide a preliminary assessment — feasibility, timeline and an approximate cost range. The final commercial offer — after agreeing technical details and approving the process sheet.
