Supervised installation of the T-110/120-130-4 turbine at Novi Sad CHP Plant
Problem:
Spare parts supply and technical supervision were required for the installation of a T-110/120-130-4 steam turbine at Novi Sad CHP Plant.
Situation:
The project was carried out at Novi Sad CHP Plant in Serbia. The turbine, serial No. 26658, had to be prepared for further operation after the installation of components.
Solution:
RotorsTech s.r.o. supplied the spare parts and provided supervised installation support, including installation supervision, assembly, adjustment and technical control of the turbine.
Result:
The turbine was prepared for commissioning and put into operation. The supply and completed work were accepted without claims.
Drive Gear Reverse Engineering for a Serbian Facility
Problem:
Critical wear of the drive gear in a gearbox assembly on an industrial production line, with no possibility of sourcing the original replacement part.
Situation:
The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) had discontinued this product line, original spare parts were no longer available, and the actual gear geometry had deviated from the archived drawings due to years of operation and repeated repairs.
Solution:
A complete reverse engineering process was carried out using 3D scanning. A new CAD model was developed, the tooth profile was restored, and a replacement drive gear was manufactured from alloy structural steel with heat treatment and comprehensive quality control.
Result:
The component was reverse engineered using 3D scanning, a new CAD model was developed, the gear tooth profile was restored, and a new drive gear was manufactured from alloy structural steel, followed by heat treatment and comprehensive quality inspection.
Loading Assembly Reverse Engineering for Baltic Facility
Problem:
Critical wear of a material loading assembly on an industrial conveying line, with no possibility of sourcing the original replacement component.
Situation:
The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) had ceased operations, the original engineering documentation was unavailable in digital format, and the actual geometry of the assembly had significantly deviated from the factory design after decades of operation, repairs, and modifications.
Solution:
A complete reverse engineering process was carried out, including on-site measurements, 3D digital modeling, and the development of an updated CAD model with structural improvements. A new loading assembly was then manufactured using modern metal fabrication technologies.
Result:
A fully compatible loading assembly with an extended service life was manufactured and delivered. The component was installed without any modification to the existing mounting interfaces. The customer also received a complete set of up-to-date engineering documentation and a 3D CAD model to support future maintenance and manufacturing.
